Business History:

Bill Effinger has several decades of hands-on experience as a developer; builder of homes and commercial projects; mortgage lender; sales; leasing; forward planning consultant and land acquisition specialist. As the Former Mayor of Buena Park California Bill Helped sponsor the first American student participation in President Eisenhower's People to People Program. A long time member of the NAHB, Bill was an appointed member of the National Marketing Committee, National Education Chairman of the Remodelers' Council and has had many of his cogent industry related articles on marketing and management published in the NAHB Business Journal, National Association of Realtors Magazine, Boston Business Journal, and Builder Magazine.

Bill's experience of helping manage Shapell Industries, Inc. led him to create a computer based business management tool marketed as The Competitive Edge.

Speaker/Lecturer/Writer:

Bill Effinger has been a guest lecturer on the subject of entrepreneurism at several colleges and universities, among them, Babson and MIT in Boston, Arizona State and National University. Published locally and nationaly, Bill has also been a building industry seminar leader in various cities. He created a successful twelve week course for the Greater Boston Building Association entitled “How to Survive, Succeed and Grow in the Building Business”
